How do we choose our partners?
Currently while choosing an organisation, we look at 2 main criterions:
1. We should have worked with the organisation before. This is a very important step as it
gives us a good understanding of the organisation as well. Also, it helps maintain our
credibility. So it is a personal and well thought out process.
2. They should really require sanitary napkins or menstrual products in general. We want to
make sure that we help out the people who really require menstrual products. Etc. It doesn’t
matter if these organisations are located in extreme parts of Bangalore as long as we are
able to help someone and make a positive change in their life.
In future, we are also planning to extend this initiative to girls/women in slums.
However, in organisations that are relatively self-sufficient in this regard, we are
always open to conducting workshops because, we believe, knowledge should be open to all.
